The Pennsylvania Department of Health announced that there were 5,676 new cases of coronavirus reported Tuesday. This brings the statewide total to 367,140.
There are 10,563 deaths attributed to COVID-19 as of Tuesday, an increase of 180. Currently, 4,744 patients are hospitalized with the disease, 113 more since the last report. Most of the patients hospitalized are ages 65 or older, and most of the deaths have occurred in patients within the same demographic.
The trend in the 14-day moving average of number of hospitalized patients per day has increased by nearly 3,200 since the end of September.
The number of tests administered within the last seven days between Nov. 24 and Nov. 30 is 375,888 with 32,853 positive cases. There were 38,752 test results reported to the department through 10 p.m., Nov. 30.
In nursing and personal care homes, there are 35,946 resident cases of COVID-19, and 6,752 cases among employees for a total of 42,698 at 1,279 distinct facilities in 65 counties. Out of total deaths, 6,507 have occurred in residents from nursing or personal care facilities. Approximately 14,655 of total cases are among health care workers.
Mask-wearing is required in all businesses and whenever leaving home. Consistent mask-wearing is critical to preventing the spread of COVID-19.
There are 17,770 individuals who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases and 642 individuals who have a positive serology test and either COVID-19 symptoms or a high-risk exposure.
There are 2,836,445 people who have tested negative to date.
The age breakdown of those who have tested positive for the coronavirus is as follows:
Ages 0-4: Approximately 1% Ages 5-12: Approximately 3% Ages 13-18: Approximately 5% Ages 19-24: Approximately 12% Ages 25-49: Approximately 37% Ages 50-64: Approximately 22% Ages 65+: Approximately 20%

Yep. If Kamala (oh and biden too) are inaugurated on January 20, then on January 21, Fauci & Company, although still expressing some "concern" about Covid-19, will suddenly have a very sunny disposition about all of it.
Fauci will cheerfully tell Americans how fantastic all the various new vaccines are, congratulating Kamala (oh and biden too) about how their seriousness regarding Covid, during the first 24 hours of their administration, is a welcome change from others foolishly ignoring it, and has instantly led to all the sudden nationwide optimism regarding Covid and America has a very bright future indeed!

I wonder how many people who are hospitalized “with” Covid are actually hospitalized FOR Covid. Because it looks like Covid has cured all other diseases.
That is what happens when you run a PCR test at 40x amplification in a hospital environment. Everybody tests positive because of air contamination of all samples in a virus laden location.
It also is a problem with herd immunity. This worthless test will indicate positive if you had it and got over it.

The nursing homes lacked the trained personnel and equipment to isolate and care for these individuals and the virus spread like wildfire.
Then they barred you from being with your dying family member.

Can’t disagree...early on the nursing homes accounted for 70% of the deaths, but that percentage has been steadily dropping of late.
61.6% as of today because yes, there really is serious “community spread” buy also because many of the most vulnerable have already been killed off.
They never went to the hospital and it was flu like symptoms. My brother in law lost his sense of taste, but they are recovering well.
It seems like everyone around us is getting it, but know one we know is hospitalized for it.
