I’m saying we need to be realistic about where we are because if we don’t we won’t get off our asses and DO SOMETHING to turn this around. And we do need to turn this around.
People don’t win if they don’t realize what the war looks like. You seem to be comforting yourself rather than dispassionately recognizing the obstacles we face.

What do you have in mind, beyond supporting Trump’s legal team monetarily and writing steadily to represenatives? You’re making it sound like Trump’s being passive when he’s active in the fight as he is, again with all due respect.
While I still hope for a mirale within the system, I have thought for some time that the takeover by enemies foreign and domestic will not be reversed without a real shooting war that most in the GOP and Conservatives simply cannot see in their future. Normalcy bias is going to get a lot of us killed and enslaved and far too many think everything is going to go back to what it was before Trump. They have no idea just how radical the Democrats have become and what will happen if the Left gains total power.
