Sorry, I was making the point that “unusual” things set social media on fire - at least around here. I have no knowledge about this “raid’ other then the OP.

That said it would highly unlikely that a US spec ops team would not use helos in this type of mission. Wouldn't want to get caught on the ground while ex-filling by a diligent German policeman.
