Yes, they got the 10 billion dollar CIA contract for ‘cloud services’.
Trump put the kibosh on that contract about a year and half back.
Poor Amazon.
Actually I like their retail service and want them to stay in business. I won’t be moved if Bezos has to step down because he participated in wrongdoing or was tied to persons/groups engaging in treasonous acts.
They were already operating the NSA data centers, but this was about 4 years ago. Amazon advertises jobs for techies and then they find out later what their real job is going to be. Some... don’t accept the job .. in some cases because of the restrictions that would be put on them as well as an unexpected relocation. So, from my view, I consider Amazon a branch of the intelligence community. Coming from a family that has had intelligence connections (and you probably know this... they like to keep this stuff in families which makes sense from a secrecy standpoint.. hard to hide certain things from the kids of high level folks) .. It’s my impression that the NSA are still the good guys though and that there is absolutely a “deep state” civil war going on ... and that it is hot.
