Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) warned on Friday that the left will target Christmas next and discourage people from gathering as they did with Thanksgiving and attributing their edicts to mounting fears of the Chinese coronavirus.
“They tried to cancel Thanksgiving. Didn’t work!” Jordan, the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, said. “They’re coming for Christmas next.”

Several Democrat leaders urged Americans to drastically modify their Thanksgiving plans ahead of the American holiday. Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) was among them, advising Chicagoans to “cancel” their traditional plans. Similarly, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who placed a ten-person limit on gatherings at private homes, also urged New Yorkers to “stay away” from loved ones:
– Stay home unless for essential reasons – Stop having guests over—including family members you do not live with – Avoid non-essential travel – Cancel traditional Thanksgiving plans

Didn’t the attacks on Christmas start more than 20 years ago? I worked for a five-star resort in HI in the early ‘90s, and we didn’t have Christmas. We had “Festive Season”. “Christmas” was forbidden.
I’ve already seen a few TV commercials where the grandparents are celebrating Christmas with their families thru Skype. The brainwashing continues, although with some only a light rinse is required.
This is what happened on Thanksgiving day to me. True story:
The Bumpus Hounds entered the house and ate the turkey!
“The heavenly aroma still hung in the house, but it was gone, all gone! No turkey, no turkey sandwiches, no turkey salad, no turkey gravy, turkey hash, turkey a-la-king, or gallons of turkey soup! Gone, all gone!”
Who cares about Christmas when they just stole the election. Everything else the liberals do (gun control, stack the courts etc) pales in comparison.
I’m planning on helping the Democrats kill Christmas by telling every conservative in Georgia NOT to vote in the Senate Runoff...since I’m mad at the GOP and want to TEACH THEM A LESSON.

I realize that I didn’t say /sarc, but I am so sick of having to fight a bunch of people trying to explain that the country doesn’t get saved by empowering the Democrats. Have a look at my recent posting history for details.

Yes it’s been going on for decades.
Remember last year and the latest victim, “Baby it’s Cold Outside”? Not that that’s a true Christmas song, or is really pure in spirit, but just another thing that the (early)cancel culture was eliminating.

Naa I’m with you guys, just REALLY frustrated about having to fight others here on the subject (see my recent posting history). I’m just glad Trump issued a slap-down to them (making it clear they’re not doing him or the country any favors by handing the Senate to the Democrats), although it bothers me that he saw the need to do such.
