Georgia's Republican Secretary Of State Says He Was 'Thrown Under The Bus' By Trump
yahoo ^ | November 25, 2020 | Ja'han Jones

Posted on 11/26/2020 1:45:50 AM PST by MarvinStinson

In a USA Today op-ed published Wednesday, Georgia’s Republican secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, claimed he was “thrown under the bus” by President Donald Trump when he wouldn’t help to declare Republicans the winners of elections they lost in the state.

In the article, Raffensperger commends the state of Georgia for conducting a “wildly successful and smooth election,” and he said that feat is worthy of celebration even among people whose preferred presidential candidate lost.

“For those wondering, mine lost,” Raffensperger said, referencing Trump. “My family voted for him, donated to him and are now being thrown under the bus by him.”

Last week, Raffensperger alleged Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham (S.C.) and other members of his party urged him to unlawfully disqualify ballots cast in Georgia, a state President-elect Joe Biden won by thousands of votes. Following Trump’s lead, Graham, Georgia Republican Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, and other conservatives throughout the country have pushed absurd conspiracy theories about voting irregularities in the state, including a theory alleging Georgia’s voting machines were engineered to disenfranchise Trump voters. Since election day, Raffensperger has become a pariah among conservatives for his refusal to hand Republicans victories in races they lost.

In a Nov. 14 tweet that has since been flagged as disinformation, Trump baselessly claimed Raffensperger, Republican Gov. Brian Kemp, and Democrat and former gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams were allies in a scheme to “cheat” this election cycle.

You should see the flak I get for living on Planet Earth :)

While MANY Republicans are weasels and don’t help and even try to hurt Trump, some are just scared, weak, not too bright or all of the above.

But t this point, anyone quoted as saying anything Remotely perceived as anti Trump deserves Gitmo on here :)

As far as everything going on, I Pray and I donate.

I am not getting my hopes up or down. Though I did get elated when Rudy spoke. But the decision handed down is what matters.

I will see what happens and take it from there.

Happy Thanksgiving

Did you ever hear the story of Judge Roy Bean, at one time the only law west of the Pecos? He once sentenced a cowboy to death by hanging for stealing a horse, and asked if he had any last words. The horse thief said the he understood he did wrong, but thought that hanging was a pretty severe crime for stealing a horse. Supposedly the Judge replied that he was not being hanged for stealing a horse, he was being hanged so that other cowboys would not steal other horses.

I bring this up in rebuttal to your reasoned argument that we should not send guilty varmints to Guantanamo. For the greater good of society, and without malice, sometimes we must make an example of some unfortunate soul, or in this case about 300 of them. It sounds unfair, and sometimes it is, but the alternative of being fair is far worse for society. I ask you to reconsider your opinion in concern for the wider society and not just for personal belief.

So those who say these criminals will go to prison and that is their opinion. Your opinion is the opposite.

What makes you right and them wrong?

I see this case as something unlike anything ever before and I am no youngster, believe me.

lol

In a Nov. 14 tweet that has since been flagged as disinformation...

ALL of Trump’s tweets are considered disinformation.

It is a Terrifying word that is usually used in news outlet in fascist or communist countries.

We cannot accept it.

I am just not sure how to fight back against the media.

Unless all out war comes, then I have a good idea :)

In those days taking someone’s horse was the same as the death penalty especially in the deserts.

VIDEO: 7min: 26 Nov: Sky News Australia: Trump should ‘continue legal fight’ because there is ‘industrial scale fraud’ - Alan Jones Show
Eminent law professor David Flint says President Donald Trump should continue his legal fight for as long as he can because not only is there industrial scale voter fraud at hand, but also the question of unequal protection of voters.
“It’s not just fraud, and the fraud is not just self-evident, it would be self-evident to a rookie journalist,” Professor Flint told Sky News host Alan Jones.

“I can’t understand why journalists are throwing around the word ‘unsubstantiated’ when they didn’t in relation to the many charges made against President Trump.” Professor Flint said there is “not only fraud – which is on an industrial scale” but there is also the question of “unequal protection, and that is that voters are being treated differently”.
“There’s been a lot of unlawful changes to the electoral laws, the power to change the laws is vested in the state legislators and it’s often forgotten that they have a primary role,” he said.
“But governors and secretaries of state have tried to change the laws, it’s ineffective.”

Exactly, you are entirely correct. That is the direction we are headed. Have you noticed the demeanor of the POTUS lately? He seems at peace with himself, as if he knows what he has to do and is comfortable with the probable outcome. Perhaps like President Truman and the atomic bomb decision.

A smooth election? No. FL had a smooth election. We stopped counting at 8PM, and had the results early that night. And there were no problems deciding who was the winner.

We didn’t have democrat operatives running along the street for a week “curing” ballots.

You had a fraudulent election, and you deserved to get thrown under the bus.

I’ve been watching Ozzie TV for a few weeks because they are real reporters. It is informative and they use correct English, neither of which can be said about our ... Well, they are not reporters or journalists at all, what would we call our barking class? Shills, maybe.
