Republicans Are On Track To Take Back The House In 2022
fivethirtyeight.com ^

Posted on 11/23/2020 4:08:17 PM PST by Conserv

Although we don’t yet know the winners of some House races, we can already look ahead to the 2022 midterms and see a fairly straightforward path for the GOP to capture the House. Midterm elections historically go well for the party that’s not in the White House, and the out-of-power party is especially likely to do well in the House, since every seat is up for election (the Senate is a more complicated story).

Since the end of World War II, the presidential party has lost an average of 27 House seats in midterm elections, as the chart below shows. No matter how many seats Democrats end up with after 2020’s election — at this point, they will probably end up somewhere in the low 220s — a loss of that magnitude would easily be enough for Republicans to retake the House.

The recent history of midterms in a Democratic president’s first term seems especially promising for the GOP, too. Following Bill Clinton’s election in 1992, Democrats lost more than 50 seats in 1994, and after Barack Obama won the presidency in 2008, Democrats lost more than 60 seats.

If Democrats had added five to 10 seats this year, they could have survived a 20-seat loss in the midterms. Instead, Republicans will probably need to win fewer than 10 seats to gain a slender majority in 2022.

On top of this, Republicans could very well benefit from the new district lines that will be drawn ahead of the 2022 midterm elections. The GOP is set to fully control redistricting for about two-fifths of all House seats, while Democrats will only hold sway over one-tenth of them, with the remaining seats are in states with divided governments or where redistricting is done by a commission system. The Republican line-drawing advantage should help the party draw favorable maps that could help the GOP win more seats than we might otherwise expect.

Are the Democrats going to vote for them? I ask because I know a lot of republicans won't be voting.

So much could have been done in those two years. The democrats could have been made a permanent minority, but Ryan wanted to stop Trump more than beat democrats.

What makes anyone think a Republican House in 2022 will be anything more than the tax collector and facilitator for Joe Biden?

Precisely. The GOP (Not Democrat Party) has no interest in substantively opposing the progressive-corportist agenda. They didn’t when Trump was POTUS and certainly wouldn’t do it with a Democrat in the WH.

Mass election fraud is now perfectly acceptable, and elevated as honorable to the mass media, DNC, and their globalist fabian socialist cheerleading RINO’s.

“The end justifies the means”, and to an anti-God marxist, there are no moral boundaries, only their narcissistic outcomes.

As such, only anti-American, anti-God, anti-life, anti-liberty, global socialists will retain majorities going forward, in all elections. They may throw a bone or two, but this is it.

The first orders of business will now be totalitarian in nature, and will under color of emergency, act to formally wipe out the Bill of Rights.

America’s Constitution and liberty formally die here and now, if this pervasive national scale election fraud, placement of socialist puppets Harris/Biden, is forced upon us.

As well, this was a global conspiracy, directly involving big money from anti-American third parties (Zuckerberg, Gates, Soros, Clinton’s, etc) as well as foreign involvement and access to vote tabulation, election officials-judges-politicians bribed, etc, etc...

I believe when Trump surprised the already well constructed and versed global socialist DNC fraud machine in 2016, it was a painful and near catastrophic roadblock, to what was supposed to be an near immediate global socialist take-down of America, and the formal and sovereign global governance architecture put in place.

Something like this is to now follow the fraudulent Coup’d’Etat, and fraudulent placement of what will be our subordinate figurehead president.

The long fought, multi-decade global socialist DNC architects would not willingly let this happen again.

They were willing to use COVID-whatever (fear, deaths, economic collapse), to bring into subjugation and alignment, all previously “free” nations and societies. This plainly reveals a lot of motivation, and external influence.

If The Anti-Christ is among us, guess he doesn’t want to die of old age, waiting for a perfectly willing western population. An besides, there can be more national scale bloodshed this way.

Through CV-19, we (in several free nations) also taught the elite global socialist governance ruling class, we would voluntarily give up our liberties and subjugate ourselves, in exchange for safety from their own pre-planned CV-19 conspiracy, specifically designed to take total control of the worlds lesser people.

As with this piece, it is clear from the many “like” pieces written, speaking of “taking back anything”, the GOP-e, RINO’s, their publications, and many American voters in general, are no longer even capable of recognizing the death now looking them in the face, and this death and slavery has a broad smile.

No, we have to stand now, ready to give up all, or it’s over.

Well, maybe that has historically been the case, but that was prior to the Dems current fraudulent voting capabilities to manufacture votes for Democrats and/or subtract votes from Republicans.

The social contract has been broken.

The problem -- there is no longer a shared culture. It's all these different minorities, identity politics, etc.

Diversity is not our strength. Not when everyone is marching to the beat of a different drum.

I can't even imagine a community with Democrats. Looking at the number of homeless, I guess this is their future.

It depends. If the GOP actually battles the Democrats and gets some wins over the next two years, then I think GOP voters will be motivated to vote in large numbers. But, if they revert to their usual spineless form, then GOP voters won't show up. I'm betting on the latter, since the GOP clearly has no desire to lead (other than Trump, of course).

What makes those people at 538 think we will ever have free and fair elections again? They stole a presidential election. What’s a few House seats to a cabal that can pull off such a massive steal?

Yeah, big deal. They don’t do anything when they do have control. It’s a big game to politicians. They try to scare us into voting for them, and then pal around with the other side.

Because the Serbians doing the programming had no idea about the down ticket votes.

And probably didn’t have the time to make them up.

But by about March, when the gun bans are going full steam and the cops are rounding us up, it is going to be a topic of discussion on the last ride.
