Bay Area tech icon Keith Rabois announced he's leaving San Francisco permanently - and he is criticizing the city on his way out.
Rabois, an early executive at PayPal, Square, LinkedIn and more, told Fortune he is "moving imminently" because he's finding it "impossible to stay" in San Francisco. After living in the Bay Area for 20 years, he said he plans on moving to Florida.
"I think San Francisco is just so massively improperly run and managed that it's impossible to stay here," Rabois told Fortune. He told the publication other friends in his peer group have done the same, and a look at his Twitter account shows multiple tweets about the so-called San Francisco exodus.
Rabois is a legend in Silicon Valley as an investor and a tech exec. He rose to prominence as part of the PayPal Mafia, a group of early PayPal employees including Peter Thiel and Elon Musk, who have since become big names in the industry.

DON:T BRING YOUR CRAPPY DEMOCRAT WAYS WITH YOU!
Dog whistle to ALL LEFTISTS/SOCIALISTS move to Florida and other Red states then we win.
Communist governments fail simply because it puts ideology before reality.
San Francisco is a perfect example of a local government that is ran by ideology and not reality.
The normal role of a government is to provide the community with common services such as police and fire, road construction and maintenance, good school, and so on.
To the left none of those matter. What matters is “diversity” and forced acceptance of those they consider special.
The silver lining to these lock downs is that the revenue stream into government coffers has been slowed. They are running out of money.
Another silver lining is that these petty dictators are showing everyone what they would do if they had ultimate power.
I will not be surprised when this all shakes out that voters will look at Democrats in a new way.
These types are either refugees or infectors. My guess is this guy is the latter. Smart enough to make a bunch of money, but to egotistical and stupid to recognize their own mistakes and flaws. If he has lived in San Francisco for 20 years he’s drunk the kool-aid too long to change. Seattle or Portland would be a better destination for him.
This! Please, for the love of God, understand what you're moving into. We Floridians don't take kindly to liberals.
Elections won’t matter anymore if this isn’t turned around. It will be over. The most obvious fraud in history.

It would be a shame if all these blue staters who flee to red states were made to feel unwelcomed. Just sayin
It makes me ill that these people ruined one state and now leave in an attempt to ruin other states.
It should be illegal. I’m a Floridian, and don’t want the politics of CA here !
Exactly. They already have stolen VA forever. They probably stole the MI and WI governorships in preparation for this presidential election.
I was wrong.
They’re not Borg.
They’re Spaceballs.
20 years in SFC, and I bet he voted straight democrat ticket every-time, every year - and no is not happy with what he democrats have done to the city, so he is going to move to a red’ish state, and continue voting for more of the same...count on it.
I just can’t understand why corporations continue to select DC, NoVa, Silicon Valley for their new HQs. Extremely high costs and what benefit?
I will add Cowbirds to Blue Locusts on my list of names for Liberal Lefties. They befoul every place they go! Their stench stays long after the leave.
Quite possibly, but Don’t bet your retirement on it. Thiel is a Trump guy, and Musk is a chameleon.

These are the pukes that made it this way and now they are spreading thier cancer elsewhere
