... Before Election Day I warned many people that polling showed a majority of Donald Trump's supporters believed he would win by a landslide. They thought this primarily because these voters consumed information in a closed ecosystem that wasn't giving them facts or an accurate assessment of the current political situation. The closed ecosystem included some conservative media they spent a lot of time watching and listening to, as well as a homogenous social media enclave that affirmed these biases.
So, in aftermath of Election Day, many Trump supporters were confronted with a reality much different from what they thought was going to happen.
Trump, and other leaders in politics and some conservative media, are doing incredible damage to our democracy and the bonds we share as Americans by pushing conspiracy theories instead of overcoming biases.
Trump is playing on the biases and fears of his supporters, not speaking truth about the election outcome and helping destructive conspiracies root ever deeper in our country. By doing so, he is undermining our Republic and its democratic institutions.
Yes, we will get through this moment, but we have much work to do in reforming and rebuilding the infrastructure of democracy and in choosing leaders at all levels and on all platforms who help people see their biases and help them overcome their prejudices. We can do this through hard work and healing.

Once again, just to be accurate, the FCC does NOT license networks, they license individual stations. The FCC has no control over network content (except for airing adult films etc) it is the public who watches them and buys the sponsor’s products..
Trump ended the run of the Bush cabal, and he did so very publicly. That’s why you have remnants of the cabal flailing about for relevance unable to accept that the party is gone from their grasp, possibly for good.
Wrong, the press could ease election tension by demanding signature verified re-counts with observers! If Trump is wrong, prove it!
They known for decades that big cities cheat and turned a blind eye.

You can bet they would be screaming at the top of there lungs if they thought Trump cheated. And I will bet you when the evidence comes out they cheated that they will be screaming Trump stole the election. There will be riots in the streets again. Notice how it all stopped after biden fake won. There tears will be so sweet when these democrats get caught in the act. Powell said when people see the evidence it will shake the world. He got over 80 million votes. She wouldn’t say it if she didn’t have proof. And I hope he passes some kind of executive order to take away protections from these social media and media in general. I don’t watch any of them and don’t go on face book or twitter.
More gaslighting. The polls convinced the Left that Biden would win in a landslide, with swing states as much as 17% (WI) in Biden’s favor. Biden leads by just 45,000 probably fraudulent votes in 3 states, including Wisconsin.
Sorry, partner, but once your great hillary denounced me, for not swallowing her snake oil, there is no resolution here.
What’s so irritating about a story like this is that ABC News could have “eased tensions” over the last four years by reporting the truth instead of promoting that phony Russia collusion hoax, among many other lies and half-truths.
