Maybe they are expecting the military votes to gain some Trump votes.

I ran numbers yesterday on outstanding ballots against the counties and the voting trends this election. At this point I had Trump winning by 21k I think. BUT, obviously the absentee ballots have trended way more dem than the counties they have been coming from.
i would love to believe that the military ballots would come to the rescue. however as i mentioned in a previous thread, i called the state sos office and got a clarification that they go directly by mail to the stateside voter home counties and presumably get added to the mix of ballots to be counted immediately (if for no other reason than since some counties have zero ballots outstanding). plus more responsible people should (imho) tend to vote early (including military/overseas). so i am personally hesitant to place any bets that these votes will help. could it be that the national republican party simply does not understand the situation and is misreading how the military votes are counted? that also seems unlikely since it is so easy to check (so easy that i could do it in a single phone call attempt).
or, maybe i am wrong and somehow the military votes will still come to the rescue by some mechanism that i have not yet considered likely, but is more in line with actuality... i hope so...
The Dem party made a huge push to get their voters to vote by mail and their voters were also more afraid of COVID. So I believe Fox when they say absentee ballots were skewed to the Democrats absolutely everywhere and in-person voting was similarly skewed to the Republicans. Everyone knew and saw that was happening before the election so it should come as no surprise.
