Mayor Bill de Blasio was excluded from participating in New York’s major Columbus Day event Monday, The Post has learned.
The head of the Columbus Citizens Foundation confirmed that de Blasio was not invited to speak at this year’s alternative event to the Columbus Day parade that was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The foundation’s virtual “2020 Columbus Citizens Foundation Italian Heritage & Achievement Special” event was televised on WABC-TV from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.

This may be mythological... But didn’t Columbus bring Smallpox to the the new world and apparently in return, the indigenous peoples sent Syphilis back to Europe???
Which BTW is the reason Bill and Hillary Clinton never had sex... He didn’t want to catch it from her.
The left’s love fest with the innocent peace loving indigenous peoples is a laugh, they were killing each other, eating each other, lopping off heads, sacrificing young virgins and their enemies to the gods, way before Columbus came. But Columbus because he is white and a man is evil.
Anyone with an ounce of class would not want DumblASSio at their event to besmirch it. It would be like having a dozen airliners empty their honey buckets on the street.
I thought liberals didn’t like Columbus. Why would Warren Wilhelm (the mayor’s real name) attend an event in his honor?
