The US govt last week updated the survival rates (i.e., IF infected) for Covid19:

So even the most fragile age group does ok. But this is the reason why we should vaccinate. Vaccination is about hers immunity and protects the individual as well as the cohort. While I am in the age group where there is 0.2% death mom and dad have a 1/20 chance of dying with this. I would prefer not to bring it to them as I treat this disease.
Arguments against vaccination are political and Scientifically ignorant
This CDC data should be sufficient for everyone to say get back to work, open everything up, get the kids back in school, AND get all government workers back to work, else fire them.

There's no such argument in the article, the tweet or this thread (yet, anyway).
Being in/around the medical community & "seasoned citizens," we get our yearly flu shot in this family.
Regarding any potential wuhan flu shot, we will wait at least a year until more data is collected.

Completely agree. While we really didn't know much about the epidemiology of wuhan-19 back in Jan/Feb even somewhat into Mar...we do now, and have for a while.
This is a politicized virus.

Somewhat worse for the middle age groups.

There have now been 48,299 coronavirus cases reported at 37 universities in the United States.
Of those cases there have been ONLY 2 hospitalizations.
And there have been ZERO DEATHS!
I can’t believe people fell for this . The news media are the enemy of the American people .All this corona-covid cold or whatever is just a political coup by democrats. And that’s all it ever was.
Well I suppose anyone can take a wild ass guess. What is his source for such a conclusion I wonder?
