It’s interesting going back to read about the Sept 8 2020 Wildfires. There were no motels or shelters. I drove 5 hours away before I found a bed to lay down several days later.
This lady in the article was about a mile from my home. It was impossible to get any news if you weren’t there. We discovered later bums
On the Greenway were being paid to set out gas cans in tall grass. This fire, the Almeda, was urban!
BLM/Antifa just happened to be camped, destroyed Hawthorne park in Medford that week. I had an encounter with 5 of them that night 40 miles away as I tried to sleep in a parking lot. More trauma!
And waiting to know how bad it was became hell. I had no computer, only a phone I didn’t know how to use.
Because I had to leave my county, I wasn’t
allowed to sign up for anything in another county.
I watched illegal aliens at a shelter in Springfield Oregon get money and hotel vouchers as I was turned away.
The”friend” who insisted I stay with him was after the insurance money and had a house full of new appliances picked out for the girlfriend he was hiding..so I left. It was cold weather by then.
I felt like I’d fallen into hell. I and my best pal Bugs the Cat lived in 8 places and the car in 6 months. I was so lost and sick. Pancreatitis and COPD off the charts because of a month of smoke I couldn’t escape.
No library or much open because of covid. I sat at burger king most of the time trying to communicate on their wifi. I often had to drive off and leave everything I was buying to replace the burned stuff.
Self sufficiency and independence is a great way to live, until you lose everything and need help.
It won’t be there. I spent my life helping other people. When I needed help, they didn’t have a clue what to do. They were all takers.
3 years later, I was told what I received as fire relief funds turned out to be a loan the Biden regime insists, so now I am losing everything again because they are taking my social security checks. I sent them a check for the”loan” amount..they want $10,000 in interest too!

The NGOs are absolutely pissing away tax dollars. A local Access outfit got all the federal $. All correspondence is full of preferred pronouns. All they do is give out each other’s phone numbers. I’ve talked to at least 25:of them.
They ordered thousands of mobile homes... I qualified to buy one... Waited for a year to find out they ordered from Idaho and didn’t meet Oregon specs. So what happened to all that $$???
It’s always...go find documents, copy and send.. over and over again.
Almost 4 years. I have received absolutely zero from any non profit.
It’s pure corruption. It feels like ethnic cleansing. Especially after breaching Irongate Dam. My family has lost everything, their future and my retirement gone to the Biden regime.
