So let me see if I have this correct. Trump imposed new sanctions on Russia over Ukraine and supplies Ukraine with anti-tank weapons when the previous administration refused to do so.. He has at last countered China’s theft of jobs and intellectual property from the US, the first President in forty years to do so and he’s a puppet of Russia and China. I’m having an attack of cognitive dissonance here.

I believe Trump knew Bolton’s preference was always FOR intervention, but he needed to understand that perspective in order to shape his own agenda, after carefully considering ALL contrary possibilities. As an industry executive, he would appreciate when reaching beyond one’s normal experiences, it would helpful to become fully knowledgeable.
