THE NY TIMES HITS THE PANIC BUTTON

I'm guessing the Democrats’ internal polling on the current rioting and protesting is looking really bad, because the New York Times this morning declares a five-alarm fire with this new story (I’ve bolded some revealing bits of the reportage):

How Chaos in Kenosha Is Already Swaying Some Voters in Wisconsin

Don Biehn, 62, owner of a flooring company, was standing in line at a gun store on Tuesday afternoon. He said that he had never bought a pistol before, but that he had a business to protect. A former county board supervisor, Mr. Biehn said he had been calling county and state officials for days, trying to explain how grave the situation was. . .

He added: “It’s chaos — everybody is afraid.” Mr. Trump, he said, “was not my man,” but now he is grateful he is president. He said he seemed to understand in a way that other politicians did not. “There’s nobody fighting back,” he said. “Nobody is paying attention to what’s going on.” . . .

Priscella Gazda, a waitress at a pizza restaurant in Kenosha, . . . said she had voted only once in her life — for Mr. Obama in 2008.

“I’m not the one who would ever vote,” she said. But after the chaos in her town, this year is different. “I am going to vote for Trump,” she said. “He seems to be more about the American people and what we need.”

I’m guessing this story has ruined a lot of breakfasts today for Times readers, and will cause a lot of canceled subscriptions. The Times isn’t supposed to bring its readers unpleasant news like this.

That's great.

But they must do more than "just" vote for Trump.

They must pay attention to who/what they vote for on their ENTIRE ballot.

Particularly state and local elections. It's the (D) mayors and governors who are purposefully holding their LEO's back and allowing the riots to continue.

The local governments/authorities have the first responsibility in these cities.

The Kenosha Invasion is the handwriting on the wall that this could happen in your neighborhood too. Many people were indifferent and told themselves this could only happen in a Democrat crap-hole somewhere else.

People could tell themselves that the images of the McCloskey's protecting themselves were something else but having a 17 year old attacked and forced to defend himself with deadly force from three white felons with a Communist agenda to destroy (as compared to robbers or muggers) in a previously quiet municipality hits home. This can happen to you and the Communist Democrats are willing to do it.

Absolutely! The down-ballot races are so important this year. We MUST take back the House (and keep the Senate, of course). We want the RAT party totally castrated.

YES. And the DISTRICT ATTORNEYS who "drop the charges."

Stories like this, to me, are an indication of the start of something *BIG*...a HUGELY good night for President Trump on November 3rd.

Seán Lemass would approve of you...he was just a sixteen-year-old ‘lad’ when he took up arms to fight for his country and he became the greatest political leader in its history... 👍🇺🇸🙏

The same alarms are being sounded at 538 and a few at CNN. Quite frankly, its polling that is showing people are tired of the violence, rioting, and looting BS - they are blaming democraps - and rightly so.

The mentioning of Nixon ‘68 is point I’ve made. Anyone who remembers ‘68 has seen this movie before. Same white liberal spoiled kids doing most of the damage. I’m sure Nixon loved the democrat rioting during the Chicago convention as much as Trump is loving the contrast of democrat rioters and his convention. Lots of race rioting thrown into the mix. Nixon ran as the law and order candidate while Humphrey was limited in his ability to call out the peacenik agitators because they were a part of his base. The big difference was the white kids didn’t want to get drafted and there was still real discrimination.

The fact that it’s Kenosha is resonating.

Though a city of almost 100,000, the name implies a certain small hometown quality. Most voters long ago wrote-off inner city Baltimore, Detroit and Chicago. But if this kind of violence is percolating down to places Americans view as more idyllic the political repercussions will be dramatic.

I believe that after Nov 4th when trump wins the chains will then be released. He can’t run again so he will for sure send NG and feds to clean all these cities up.

Because he isn’t one.

I agree. Most people don’t mind demonstrations to force change but they sure as hell don’t want riots and destruction.

The term “mostly peaceful” has become a running joke here.

I can only assume that any reasonable voter has also come to that conclusion.

People don’t want to live in “mostly peaceful” communities.

We had a shooting in Greenville back in July. A young man on the run from the police/sheriff’s deputies all day. They had him cornered in woods and when he finally came out, he had a gun in one had, his cell phone in the other. Several deputies jumped out of a van and told him to drop the gun. His back was to the deputies running away from them. They shot him in the back and he died on the spot without ever pointing, not taking a shot at anyone.

Thank God he wasn’t black, for surely the city would have burned down by now.
