We know what is happenig in NY re moving companies. I have not heard about the situation in Portland.My SIL and her hubby live in SE Portland ans they swear everything is fine. I have to believe that soon the mob will descend on their neighborhood, so we will see what they think then.
I know its hard for some people to move but better to get out than sit around watching things deteriorate in my view.
I left two neighborhoods in the early stages of decline and never regretted it. In fact, both moves worked out very well from a lifestyle and financial perspective.
