You know, I find it hilarious whenever Spain gets so butthurt over “England out of Gibraltar!”, yet they feel perfectly entitled to hold on to African colonial possessions. It’s exact same sort of temper tantrum that Argentina periodically pulls over The Falklands.

But of course, I’ve known for years that colonialism is *NOT* created equal. English “KKKolonial KKKleptomania” (as the activist groups called it when I was in Uni), is *always* genocidally evil, whereas for some reason, French and Spanish colonialism is somehow “acceptable”.

Similarly I recall reading in an Irish Newspaper ‘Emigrant’ (targeted to irish overseas) complaining about illegals from Nigeria in Ireland. The next article was about how the 50K illegals from Ireland need amnesty in the USA.

It’s not about the rock of Gibraltar itself, but the UK took additional land not covered by the treaty, to build an airport.
