This hearing is a disappointment to me so far. They will not give him a chance to answer anything. Barr should refuse to answer anything if they are not going to give him time to answer. What a waste of time this is.
Barr had to put some distance between himself and Trump and that is how he chose to do it.

I get the “politics” of it, but Barr is not supposed to be political. Why will one of the republicrats not ask him the question about Stone?

A simple yes or no question tells us everything we need to know on the subject because the answer is obviously NO. The special counsel investigation and the entire Crossfire operation were hopelessly corrupted from start to finish. Every single action from that point forward should be null and void.
It was all political and Barr should say that because it is the truth.
