From the videos that are out there of the doctors supporting the use of HCQ for Covid, not one of them calls it a "cure". A "cure" is a non-scientific word, more appropriate in religion.

I think the doctors who are describing the benefits of HCQ usually use words like "highly effective", "prophylactic", "positive responses", "suppresses symptoms", "therapeutically beneficial", etc. No doctor uses the word "cure", which is a technical overstatement. So I can see the reasoning. Trump should use the exact medical phrases above, so he cannot be accused of exaggerating the benefits or falsely claiming something that isn't.
