HA! I just read this. Great piece. I’m from NYC too, and what he says is true. One of the real pleasures of city life is not having to know or care what anyone is doing, or thinking. You deal with people as you find them, then you move along. But all these attempts at coercing people to feel a certain way, or think a certain way, are going to backfire, BIG TIME.
I hope this fellow learns to love the non-city as much as I have. Feeling very grateful the Lord led me to where I am today.
Unfortunately, he'll find himself asking for new sidewalks, better services and on and on and he'll vote for whoever promises to give him all that nice stuff he deserves and eventually, he'll live in a leftist hellhole again and will have ruined life for the people that have lived there for generations.
My family escaped from NYC to the hills of WA for the same type of reasons; gangs took over the projects and started to turn them into drug centers with the accompanying crime.
Good to see another FR guy that likes his part of N.J. You must be in Warren or Sussex County.

I hope he doesn’t vote, or isn’t allowed to, because he won’t be able to stop himself from enlightening the locals.
