In any event, that was not the stated problem.
Cases, analyzed carefully enough, can give hints, but fatalities, though a lagging indicator in most respects, are ultimately what counts.
Texas’ COVID-19 fatalities are on the rise, in the summer. If that is sustained, for this type respiratory disease (basically a cold with added punch for some people), it will be a bit, ah, impressive.

What she is incapable of understanding is the number of doses is not what is in stock. She doesn’t understand topics id renal adjustment and pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. She fails to understand, for example that a course of treatment May have a different number of doses based on the individual patient.

As I pointed out earlier you have insufficient knowledge to understand the nuance of your question.
What I do know is that beta thal is generally though to be a minor curiosity in the overall course of most diseases. I know you don’t want to here that we in medicine regard that as pretty minor as you get minimal secondary gain out of it. Your desire to disclose personal health history on the internet and ask people their opinion on the relative risk tends to point toward certain other diagnoses.
I would advise you to seek the counsel of your physician and listen to his or her opinion. Or set up an appointment with a hematologist.

The correct answer is that Drs dont know. They are still trying to figure out why italy had the reaction it did with thallasemia patients. I listen to Drs well versed in this disorder who are trying to figure it out.
And since Drs dont know how malfunctioning Bone marrow is going to affect my risk..It is Not Unreasonable to take precautions just on that..let alone others things i have.
