I can easily understand what you’re saying. At the other house, my room was on the west side of the house and though the house isn’t brick, lack of insulation was a factor. The room would heat up and wouldn’t cool off at night.

Do you have an attic fan to pull the hot air out of the attic? Those make a huge difference. There’s one in this house but not in the old one.

No, Jasper hasn’t been fixed yet. Spending is only on essential stuff right now and that’s not essential. That’s top of the list when we can afford it though. Then we’ll try letting him hang out in the house more often and see what happens.

Yes, it was dry here but hotter ‘n’ hades. It looked like it might rain a few times but nothing happened. We did get a little rain last night though.

It looks like the rain clouds are trying to push over the mountains. Maybe you’ll get lucky before the evening’s over.
