Confounding media’s effort to blame him for riots.
Despite the recent riots over police brutality, Rasmussen has indicated that black approval for the job President Trump is doing is now over 40%.
“Our Daily Presidential Tracking poll today shows Black Likely Voter approval of the job @realDonaldTrump is now over 40%,” tweeted the polling agency.
The full results of the poll are yet to be published, but the number suggests that the media’s campaign to frame Trump’s response to the riots as draconian and racist has completely failed.

For comparison, back in August 2019, Rasmussen’s numbers showed black support for Trump hovering at around 26%.
Several polls conducted in December 2019 also showed black support for Trump over 30%.

There is NO WAY this can be true.
I know we virtually all believe polls are junk ... but this can’t even be remotely close.
Here’s some number crunching. 137.5 million people voted in the 2016 election. 11.9% were black, giving a raw black vote of 16.36 million. 88% (14.40 million) blacks voted for Hillary. Let’s say Trump get 15% of the black vote, being conservative on the number. Assuming the same 137.5 m and 11.9% of votes from ‘16, then Trump gets 2.45 million black votes. Trump did not have 12% of the black vote in ‘16. It was 8%, so there’s 4% going to 3rd party candidates. Assume that is the same in ‘20, then a total of 3.11 million black votes do not go to the Democrat. This is an aggregate loss of 1.41 million black votes for the Rats. (That’s if I’m doing my math correctly. I have new kitten and she’s all over me right now making it nearly impossible to focus.)

How about a poll inquiring if black Americans are going to vote for President Trump.

The real question is, at this point, why would he even want one?

My hope - at this point that is all it is, hope - is that mature black people with life experience recognize the looting in the streets is a dead end street for their kids. And I hope they will vote the best interest of their families in November.
And I hope mature white people who see their kids looting in the streets have enough smarts to do the same.
