Social distancing is the most effective way to slow the spread of the coronavirus — more so than face coverings and eye protection — according to a meta-analysis published Monday in The Lancet.

The findings have new significance as thousands of Americans are gathering alongside strangers in the midst of the pandemic, demonstrating against the death of George Floyd and demanding an end to social injustice.

The obese woman in all black at the front of the match, with no mask on, will be in the ICU in about 2 weeks.

No Republicans are marching. This is a Democratic Party riot/looting. The virus will spread through their ranks. In a close election, the COVID-19 deaths can flip a battle ground state to Trump as Democratic voters die. Minnesota could go Red this year.

Whats a little covid afterall it’s for George. I imagine the people that catch it will wear it as a badge of courage. This will be hell or the contact tracers though.

Social Distancing is not Rocket Science.

Bill Gate$ is not Elon Musk.

“So we can expect about 4% of these vermin to die, right ?”

Pretty much. And Trump only lost Minnesota by a couple of percent in 2016.

I’m sorry, that’s an entirely optimistic reading of the effects of differential social behavior on infection. Most rioters are young, and will shrug off the virus after some discomfort. In fact, most won’t even know they’ve had it, if recent claims are to be believed.

my best guess- more unrest when there is no spike and people figure out that they have been “useful idiots”.

There will be a spike — and Trump will be blamed for it. That makes no sense of course; but, that won't stop the Dems, MSM, anarchists and other leftists from making those charges. Rather than denying the risks of s resurgence, why not get in front of it? Start by publicly expressing ‘concern’ about the crowds and lack of social distancing.

Well, we now have the makings of a natural experiment. I think you’re wrong; but, we needn’t debate it. We’ll know in a couple of weeks.

‘not likely...’

Clinton won 46.44% to Trump’s 44.92%.

That is 1.5%. That is a small margin. Minnesota is definitely within reach for Trump.

If we don’t see a SUBSTANTIAL spike in COVID-19 cases in the cities where protesters/rioters/looters were permitted to gather in close quarters for days on end (shouting, sweating, breathing hard, and touching everything), then we’ll know that the social distancing policies were lies.

Some of us already know it’s all a lie. Where are the piles of dead bodies? 0.26% fatality rate? It was all a scam. All of it.
