Tucker Carlson Attacking Trump and Jared Kushner Tonight. Really?
Fox News Tucker Carlson

Posted on 06/01/2020 5:32:07 PM PDT by Williams

After Trump's statement and deploying the military, Tucker attacked Trump - no other word for it - because the Fox reporter got assaulted last night.

Next he chose to attack Jared Kushner for pushing prison reform. Really? Tonight? A cheap shot against Jared K because Tucker dislikes him and his policies?

Tucker started with a perfectly fine attack on the violent rioters, but he then started criticizing Trump. Acted like Trump calling out the troops today was an afterthought.

I agree with Tucker the rioting has to be stopped. But Trump has gotten that from day 1.

The attack on Trump was deeply offensive and tone deaf to the President's words and actions.

Using this to attack prison reform? Tucker got the point but then he missed the point.

At first, I thought the same thing...but after thinking about it for a while I think I gave Rush a pass....it may be that his current situation is giving him a different perspective of the frailty of life.....to see a man’s life snuffed out before our very eyes was upsetting to all of us....Rush could have left out the call for charges of a certain degree...NONE of us know the entire story or have seen ALL of the evidence....but I imagine life right now seems acutely precious to many of us....and THAT’S okay.....

No Tucker said Trump didn’t act fast enough and as a consequence Fox’s reporter in D.C. was harassed and attacked the other night but then he acknowledged Trump’s speech today and said Good For Him but he then said Trump is getting bad advice from Kushner and others around him. They push back against anything Trump wants. Tucker also called out Republicans who were saying misleading things in support of the rioters/protestors. Tucker made his point.

My wife and I in total disbelief as we watched Tucker assault our President. Apparently we know more than Tucker about what our President is, and has been doing.

We felt compelled to shut off the television, but instead went to watch Graham Ledger on OANN. He at least gets it.

Trump needs to boot Mr. Ivanka’s ass all the back to NY and let him live in the hell hole that the type of policies he wants has made of that city. It is long past time that Trump ignore the stupidity of Kushner and his own daughter as well. We didn’t elect them to set policy, we elected Trump himself and his instincts are mostly good, it’s Kushner that perverts them.

Sorry you fell for Tucker’s little vendetta. Maybe Jared sucks. Did you hear Tucker criticize Trump over hiring (and firing) Omorosa 3 years ago?

Hey I agree Omorosa was a mistake also. That was worth a cheap shot after Trump spoke tonight?

I think he also criticized Trump for saying stupid things on line.

Do not be surprised if Tucker abandons Trump.

His criticism of the President was pretty mild.

Let’s see if Mr. bow tie suports the president using the military. He might not.

it wasn’t mild, and it came on a night when the president deserved praise.

Carlson is a wealthy preppie registered democrat who has enjoyed a life of privilege while never having held a real job and never having done anything more strenuous than write his contrarian pablum. He has a pattern of being oppositional, sort of like your average spoiled delinquent adolescent. IOW nothing much here to get excited about.

I just watched it and I don’t see Tucker attacking Trump. He said Trump has too act, has to protect the people. He attached other Republicans that is obvious. Just because a Fox reporter got hurt is not Trump’s fault and I don’t think Tucker said or implied it.

Tucker said Trump has to act and he has. However, I can see how Trump wants this to subside and be over as does a lot of people. I can see how he is reluctant to call in the military because the left will frame it that Trump is Hitler and is using the Army to suppress the people.

The governors are either too weak to do anything, too unwilling to hurt their voters, or complicit in creating this situation so that Trump has to bring in the military and, therefore, will be framed as a dictator against the people.

Do not be surprised if Tucker abandons Trump.

Then Tucker shouldn’t be shocked when 50 million viewers abandon HIM.

Laura Ingraham’s opening monologue is the antithesis of Carlson’s rant. My wife a Naturalized American was livid with Carlson’s rant targeting President Trump.

I shut it off when Tucker started equating PDJT to Nero. I think the little prick just “jumped the shark”.
