Why would you test any vaccine on your MILITARY FIRST?
Why not old people, or diabetics, or other ‘infirm’ people actually, you know, at RISK of this virus?
Unless our ideas of who is at RISK aren’t really the ones AT risk...

The PCR Test for Covid is the worst test imaginable.
It will find small traces of the virus even after the body has eliminated all virus cells. The test will find shattered virus cells, destroyed by the body’s immune system, and multiply them into a positive result.
Hence, so many “asymptomatic” positives. These are not people who can spread the virus, these are people who had the virus and their body fought it off. They probably never knew they had the virus, it is long ago conquered in their body, but traces of the shattered virus DNA can still be found in their body and replicated into a complete virus genome, and a positive test result, by PCR.
These “asymptomatic” carriers of the virus are just fine. They are not sick because the virus is dead inside of them. They cannot spread the virus to you.
We need to find a better test, one that finds only active virus cells, not the remnants of dead virus DNA!

It’s an RNA virus. Viruses don’t have cells, they must infect a cell and hijack the internal resources to replicate the RNA and make proteins and cleave proteins into functional units.

What is causing the rise?
Right there is proof the holiday partiers are a large part of the spread. Humans are big whiny babies who have to have their parties with large groups instead of either not celebrating or celebrating within the immediate family. Have small fireworks in their own backyard or watch the large displays from the safety of their vehicles. I didn’t have to leave the house to see the neighbors’.
Sadly, so many towns still had parades, festivals and other events with crowds of people.
China found out those who previously had the SARs vaccine suffered the worse with CV. Not good.
This is a virus so will mutate. Any vaccine will be a crap shoot and a dismal failure just like the flu vaccine.
I certainly don’t want to be at the head of the line for any vaccine.

So a couple of observations. It’s very likely we’re seeing the spread in Texas and Arizona due to proximity to the Mexican border. LA due to the riots. SC and FL due to being vacation destinations.
Also, the test results time is ridiculous due to the volume. How many get tired of waiting and get retested at another test site, thus being counted as 2 cases? Because that’s exactly what happened to my daughter and her boyfriend. They were initially tested at a CVS site and hadn’t received their results after 12 days, so they were advised to get tested again at a site hosted by her healthcare system. Both were positive. So is that 2 positive cases or 4?
In MS that would be one positive ‘case’. Someone specifically asked Dr. Dobbs that in some news conference.
The test results follow the person. That’s what’s meant by ‘case’. Multiple positives for that one person are still one ‘case’.

And it’s a complete travesty that they didn’t get results faster than that.

In europe it takes less than a day. Sometimes way less, like an hr or two.
