Political scientists and economists developing their election models should be aware that old models aren't going to be predictive in the corona virus economy. Other than partisan Democrats, who blames President Trump for the economic downturn?
Were they trumpeting this same model when it showed Trump would win with 55% of the vote and declaring the race over? That would have been a landslide not seen for a candidate in decades of either party.
Trump’s floor is the 46% he got last time, not 35%.
And Trump can make Biden’s economic record on China an issue as Biden has supported policies for decades making our economy and our ability to fight pandemics much more fragile and dependent on foreign countries that are hostile to the United States.

If the disastrous economy were the result of his mismanagement for the last 4 years, then I’d give this some merit. Anyone with a half brain knows that this is not the normal lousy economy. In fact, people know that Trump created the best economy in history, it had to be shut down (debatable), and he’s the ONLY one who can rebuild it.
