And when the new workers get sick as well?
This will be an ongoing thing until we get herd immunity to this.
It’s not a ‘get trump’ or ‘panic america’ thing. It’s a result of people getting herd immunity in bits and pieces.
Have you had it yet? I hope I had it in February when my whole class was ill. A few had flu. The rest had not the flu. One was in PICU for a week and missed three weeks of school. One was out two and a half weeks. Teacher was sick but not the flu. I had sore throat and body aches but no fever. A friend is going to be tested as soon as she can for antibodies. She had the symptoms but not the flu. Shes got the blood type most needed. If she has the antibodies, she will donate plasma.
Doesn’t it depend on whether the virus is circulating in the community or not?
Even if the virus does, the new plant reorganization should slow or impede the spread of infection inside the plant; and if the new workers become ill, by then the original workers could also be recovered and able to return to their original job. Expanding the work force allows for greater flexibility so people can be cycling in and out as needed to keep production moving.
