ABOUT: This will be a PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL gathering to demonstrate that we are Free people and we are not okay with what our Governor is doing. We will have speakers and testimony from Wisconsin residents and business owners (If you would like to speak, please contact the Administrator Thomas Leager or Madison Marie). We want our Jobs, Businesses, School, State parks, Places of Worship, Playgrounds, Daycares, “Non-Essentials”, friends and Family back.
-Children are welcome!! -We are responsible for how we treat the state capitol and each other, PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE GROUNDS AND PICK UP YOUR TRASH! -Please bring water and whatever Snacks you need. -Dress properly for the weather. Prepare for rain just incase. -Plan ahead for parking. -Home-made signs are welcome as long as they are nothing vulgar and you remember to take them home
We will still assemble Rain, Shine, Snow, even if the Facebook Event Page disappears. Even if the Stay at home order is lifted, because we don’t want this to happen again.
If you’d like to follow the CDC guidelines, that is your decision. If you don’t follow guidelines, that is your decision. You are responsible for your and your family’s health and safety. I have to say this for all of the spiteful people who might try to use this against us.
PARKING: Below are Good parking locations within walking distance of the capitol building. Parking is usually around $10 depending on how long you stay. Otherwise, parking on the street is available but metered and limited to a couple hours.
State Street Capitol Parking Garage: This will be the shortest walking distance. Upon Exiting the parking garage, find Carroll street, Go right or South-East on Carroll St. to the capitol building.
