President Donald Trump told reporters on Saturday he "may" take the drug hydroxychloroquine, despite no evidence the drug is effective and safe for preventing or treating the coronavirus.
The nation's top infectious disease expert, Anthony Fauci, who is often featured at Trump's daily press briefings, has warned Americans that there is no evidence that the drug is effective in preventing or treating coronavirus.

There is no such ban. Governors can restrict its usage, which is what they have done.

If I had access, me and the wife would be taking it. She works at a nursing home and has COPD. The woman from a local lab that goes to many homes has visited one place that’s had a case and visited where my wife works since then.

Would love to see Fauci asked if he specifically and personally advised Chris Cuomo not to take hydroxychloroquine. At best its confusing. Fauci said in an interview that he himself would take it if he thought he contracted COVID-19. Suspect Chris Cuomo of CNN will deny ever taking hydroxychloroquine even if he did.
Offer these so called Journalists the Drug on their Deathbed and they would give you anything.

to Hydroxychloroquine when you see Trump as part of the headline.
This is getting to be predictable and tiresome already.
Yeah, that’s not what he said at all. He cautioned that it’s too early to say for certain that it’s a silver bullet cure. I think he wants to make sure other potential treatments continue to get worked on. And if your lungs are too far gone, it’s not going to repair them.
RE: More correctly, there is no evidence that it is NOT effective.
I would modify that to say that there’s LOTS of evidence to show that it’s effective, both here and abroad.
Dismissing it as ineffective shows a lazy mind at work, unwilling to do the necessary journalistic research, when there’s tons of evidence published out there.
It tells me the so-called journalist wants millions of deaths just to get Trump out of office.

If the state refunds the cost of the drug or part of the cost, they could say, “Since it was not approved by FDA for the indication used.” ‘We will not pay for that drug used for that indication.’
MediCal did this bs with welfare patients for decades.
It is the most wanted drug around the world by doctors who have used it, but that don’t count for our brilliant doctors in the media. Hating Trump outweighs saving lives.
