He is referring to specific synagogues and churches here. Unless there is a specific mosque that is still holding services, then his omission of the word "mosque" may be because the mosques have shut down for services. (There are FAR more churches and synagogues in NYC than mosques.)

Just for the record, DeBlasio should be asked that specific question. Are mosques included in your plan to close permanently those houses of worship that don’t comply with the public health directives?
Guarantee that before he answers he will look at his protective police detail and wonder if the cops he has so disparaged would do anything special or sacrificial on his behalf. Until then this petty Stalinist was really enjoying his “obligation” to close churches and synagogues. But closing mosques? That will be dangerous.

How can a pastor in Tampa get jailed for holding 2 church services. (In a low risk area) and the mosques can function daily as usual in NYC? (A hot zone). Watching all this is like watching a surreal movie from Hollywood. Time for popcorn.

Christians take the abuse... muslims won’t.
So are Christians supposed to fight back and take to the streets? or keep on taking it.
Will Christians go to court? or keep on taking it.
There used to be Quakers who were pacifists... if everyone was pacifists... who would fight our wars and keep the enemy from overrunning us all...
Maybe Christians expect someone else to do their battle..
and PS. I am a Christian and I don’t have any answers but I fight being taken over by the wrong bunch.
