Canada is presently in the throes of social and political disintegration. A left-leaning electorate has once again empowered a socialist government promoting all the lunatic ideological shibboleths of the day: global warming or climate change, radical feminism, indigenous sovereignty, expansionary government, environmental strangulation of energy production, and the presumed efficiency of totalitarian legislation. Industry and manufacturing are abandoning the country in droves and heading south.
Canada is now reaping the whirlwind. The Red-Green Axis consisting of social justice warriors, hereditary band chiefs, renewable energy cronies, cultural Marxists, and their political and media enablers have effectively shut down the country. The economy is at a standstill, legislatures and City Halls have been barricaded, blockades dot the landscape, roads and bridges have been sabotaged, trains have been derailed (three crude-by-rail spillages in the last two months), goods are rotting in warehouses, heating supplies remain undelivered, violent protests and demonstrations continue to wreak havocand the hapless Prime Minister, who spent a week swanning around Africa as the crisis unfolded, is clearly out of his depth and has no idea how to control the mayhem. No surprise here. A wock pupper politico in thrall to the Marxist project and corporate financial interests, Justin Trudeau is generally baffed out when it comes to any serious or demanding concerns involving the welfare of the people and the economic vitality of the nation. Little is to be expected of him in the current emergency apart from boilerplate clichés and vague exhalations of roseate sentiment.

Cultural Marxism. We destroy it or it destroys us.
10 new states for US?
You would think that this kind of news would get more attention. ...or maybe you wouldn’t.
And somehow, it must all be America’s fault. oO
At least Canada will make a good visual prop for the campaign trail and the inevitable debates between Trump and Sanders. Should be fun!
AB, MB, & SK only. Maybe YT.
They have money to burn thanks to the fact that they only need a token defense force and don’t have to worry about defending their border.

Nice work Justin!
A few dead envirowackos would bring the matter to a head and remove the barricades.
By barricading the railroads, they have rescinded their own
right to life. Their lives are a trifle compared to the living society
“10 new states for US?”
Funny you ask this. I have a friend with dual citizenship, born and raised in Canada (Alberta). A common sentiment among the English speakers during the Quebec separatist push was that many were ready to jettison the French-types and join the US. But that would just give us a bigger mess to clean up in addition to the cesspools being created by our own “coastal elites.” And that kind of sudden cultural and geographic shift has never come about peacefully. I just hope I’m not here for it.
Oh hell no.
Canada was on a downward slide when they changed the flag.
The country doesnt have many natural or organic unifying symbols, and their old flag is what Canadian soilders died under at Vimy Ridge, at D-Day, and liberating the Netherlands. That cemented the bonds of people that were incredibly different and until that time only together to prevent American annexation.
When they went from that to a logo,Canada was more like a mall. One where all the stores inside are now all Chinese nail salons and dollar stores.
So, who will soon be Canaduhs Donald Trump?

Prior to achieving commonwealth status wasn’t Canada governed/administered as 3 separate regions?
You are so right rocket Man. By the way I love that Elton John song. Rocket Man burning like a ...
On the other hand, if half the idiots who said they were moving there when Trump won had done so, they’d be in much worse shape.
Hey, at least I even call our state nevaDUH now after the last round of choosing politicians.
We can’t survive by importing leftists over both land borders
If it puts communism/socialism/fascism in a bad light, it doesn’t get a mention.

One tiny little part of the Canadian economy that I am familiar with is under seige from the leftists.
That is their cigar stores.
Many Americans were making trips there to buy Cuban cigars—now some of the largest and best stores are closing due to crazy regulations (in addition to the previously existing crazy taxes).
I am sure this is being repeated in hundreds of other industries, large and small.
