A U.S. District Court Judge in Washington, D.C., issued a statement Thursday obtained by The Hill rejecting the notion that outside pressure will influence the court’s ruling on Roger Stone’s case.
Judge Beryl A. Howell responded to President Trump’s attacks on Stone’s sentencing judge, U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson, assuring “public criticism or pressure is not a factor” in the court’s decision. Howell and Berman Jackson are both Obama appointees.

Howell further underscored that judges do not take sentencing lightly and said that his colleagues take all aspects of the case into consideration when they make a decision.
“The Judges of this court base their sentencing decision on careful consideration of the actual record in the case before them; the applicable sentencing guidelines and statutory factors; the submission of the parties, the Probation Office of the victims; and their own judgement and experience,” Howell’s statement read.

Judicial appointments are a waist of time( 90 percent anyway). There are no conservative judges. There are leftist judges and leftists judges pretending to be conservatives.
Think about it. Ask yourselves how many conservatives do you know who would like a government job where they wear pretentious robes, command to be addressed as "your honor" and sit in judgement of others? Couple that with educational and governmental systems that virtually gaurantees any conservative finds another career path long before becoming a judge.
And this Odunga appointed Beotch knows just how that everything is hunky dory? Said Beotch didn’t preside over this case. Looks like she is carrying water for the Judge that did preside over this travesty.

WASHINGTON, DC – The office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) today announced that her Federal Law Enforcement Nominating Commission is accepting applications for an upcoming opening on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Applications for the opening are due in 30 days, on Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Chief Justice John G. Roberts has appointed U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia Judge John D. Bates as the Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts. A new seat on the district court here will be created when Judge Bates assumes the position on July 1, 2013. Under federal law, when a district court judge becomes the Director, the President appoints, with the advice and consent of the Senate, an additional judge for the court on which the Director serves. If Judge Bates were to leave the position as Director and resumes his duties on the court, the President would not appoint a judge for the first vacancy after Bates’ return.
President Obama, like President Clinton, granted Norton senatorial courtesy to recommend federal district court judges and other federal law enforcement officials in the District. Norton and her Commission are proud that D.C. has a full court, with all 15 judges sitting on the district court here, and they are moving quickly to fill the additional seat that Judge Bates’ appointment will create. Norton’s Commission will now vet and interview applicants for the opening and will send several applicants to the Congresswoman, who will then make her recommendation to President Obama. Criteria for evaluating candidates include: integrity, professional skills and experience, impartiality, industry, good health, high respect in the legal and local community, respect for the Bill of Rights and for the rights of all litigants, entities and parties, judicial temperament, ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, demonstrated commitment to equal justice, and decisiveness. Diversity also is important in federal appointments.
Applicants must submit 20 completed copies of the application to Federal Law Enforcement Nominating Commission, C/O District Office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, 90 K Street, NE, Suite 100, Washington, DC 20001, by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013.
In March, the Senate confirmed the nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson, whom Norton recommended to President Obama, to the district court here. President Obama has nominated and the Senate has confirmed all five of Norton’s other recommendations for district court judges (Amy Berman Jackson, James E. Boasberg, Rudolph Contreras, Beryl A. Howell and Robert L. Wilkins).
Norton appointed 16 D.C. residents to her Commission to screen and recommend candidates from whom she then chooses to send to the President. By now it should be all to obvious why the obama administration was not at all concerned about judicial appointments. The reason is the leftist have taken over the judicial branch of government and It's never going back unless we the people make some extreme changes. Ask yourselves with all these appointments president Trump has made how often do we actually win with a court decision?
I have stated many times conservatives are fooling themselves thinking we are advancing our cause with judicial appointments, we're not. The fact is the pool of potential appointees contain only leftists and leftists pretending to be impartial by making occasional conservative rulings. In the end the entire pool of appointees is already pre-filtered by the system to produce only big government supporting leftist judges. Ask yourselves even without the government and educational systems filtering out conservatives, how many truly conservative people do you know who want a life long government job where you get to impose your will on and sit in judgement of others? The concept of "judge" attracts the same type of people who want to be on your HOA board.
If it is not a factor, then why are they complaining about it ?

We MUST end lifetime appointments, if only for district court judges. While many don’t stay there a long time, those that do seem to be the most dangerous.

The juror is an attorney. The judge asks the prospective jurors the questions. She lied in court. Should be disbarred. The judge should be pissed. But ir8s an Obama judge.
