Republican strategist Kimberly Klacik explained Thursday how she won the primary in late Rep. Elijah Cummings' Maryland congressional district.
For the past year or so, Ive been going around in communities and talking to people. I believe I won the primary off of those grassroots efforts, Klacik told, Fox & Friends First.
Klacik explained that the district has voted Democrat since 1953 and facing incumbent Kweisi Mfume, who held the seat before Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., will be a challenge.

She is a lot better looking, might just work.
Er, she has a little more than SLIGHTLY SEXY photos on google images.
Ex model? Current model?
She can flip me!!!
Sadly that district is impossible to win.
I’ll fix the election for a price!!
You go girl!!
I’ve seen her on tv a few times. She is pretty sharp. I wish her well.
Mfume has some baggage in the black community.
A secret vote pushed Kweisi Mfume out as NAACP leader amid ‘growing dissatisfaction with his performance, records show
Perhaps she might. I sure hope so. Will be an interesting race to watch.
Fat chance.
This is one of the most gerrymandered districts in the nation. (Dontcha know that gerrymandering is good if the Rats do it.) The PVI is D+26.
Flipping Baltimore is like trying to drain the ocean with an eye dropper. If Kimberly has something to offer the nation (which seems very likely) she’d be wise to start her career somewhere other than Baltimore.
Here’s a candidate the GOP is sure to support! /s
Oh the naïveté of youth.....
If she uses Trumpisms with rats, abandoned buildings, drug infestation, garbage pile up, high unemployment and nothing accomplished by democraps for 60 plus years, plus the corruption of Cummings and his wife, blacks may just wake up enough to elect her. If not, to hell with them. Cant fix stupid. Damn she is Laz hittable
Beautiful!
I think she is way above Laz’s threshold.
That would be awesome!!!!!
As a resident of the district in question, I would give her no more than a 1 in 4 chance of winning. While she may very well get my vote, the gerrymandered district provides for a severe uphill challenge, even residents in the upscale Howard County portion of the district are leftists.
