Sen. Susan Collins (R., Maine) has been receiving profanity-laced voicemails ahead of the Senate vote to determine whether witnesses will testify in President Donald Trump's impeachment trial. This week, Collins's office released several of the voicemails to the media.
"You're a disgrace! A disgrace to this country. Not just to the Senate, but to your country. You're a traitor. You're a f—ing traitor," one man said.
"You're going to lose, Susan Collins. You're going to lose. You're just a little b—h for Donald Trump," a woman said.

Another installment of Agreeing with Liberals for the Wrong Reasons. I think she is going to vote the right way on this, otherwise, she wouldn’t have released this stuff.

It’s not so hard to understand that she invites these attacks by being a known waffler. If she had any fortitude, the crazies would know that it would be a waste of time to try to intimidate her.

If it would possibly do any good I would take the time. But after about 50 years experience I have found that trying to contact a Representative if futile.
I was secretly hoping that Roberts would shake the card she wrote to match her voice.
I agree, but I don’t think she’ll vote with us on the issue of witnesses. We’ll see.

In fairness, politicians receive profanity-laced phone calls for pretty much anything they do these days. Its just par for the course.
Its why I laugh when some political type points to all the “hate tweets” that they got on Twitter as a reason for people to sympathize with them, as if its something unique. You can get hate tweets on Twitter for posting a picture of a puppy or a kitten. Some haters just gotta hate.

The left never had a case.. but they did have a few GOP never Trumper’s and a few GOP folks who would, even though they knew it was a bunch of nonsense, hear them out to be polite and fair.
I put Romney in the prior, I put Collins in the latter... the stunts they have played and nonsense like this have pushed, I believe the latter, to say nope, not going to humor this nonsense any longer.

I think before Adam Schitt for brains threw his head on pikes comment out, she probably would have out of some misguided belief that even though she knew it was garbage, she wanted to be “fair”.... After that, and this crap I suspect those that were with her in this camp, are done humoring the left wing idiots.

All of this has much to do with the Supreme Court inevitable pick with the MAGA Trump 2.0 and Ruthie’s hopeful dirt nap soon.
So is there any indications Collins will reward these creeps by doing what they demand? To do so doesn’t make any sense at all.
