Nadler starts out with a slide which has the third bullet point a lie, claiming that Legal Experts Unanimously Agree Trump’s Abuse of Power is impeachable.
That was false. It is not a fact. Nor is it unanimous.
We can comment on today’s session in this thread.
Congressional Democrats have lost their way in this impeachment ruse that forced them to take their focus off the most important issue facing the nation today they were addressing before they were overcome by the irresistible impulse impeach the President, i.e, how do we determine gender and who gets to use what bathroom.
“HIS” legal experts agreed.
Exhibit #1 was the Vagina Lady law professor, LOL.
Nadler’ s Judiciary Committee had FOUR constitutional experts testify before it. Three who were essentially nobodies, and a fourth who was well known, Professor Jonathan Turley, a well known expert. The three nobodies all agreed that Trump should be impeached. Turley, also a Democrat excoriated the Democrat’s plan to impeach on what the Democrats had, and criticized them particularly for proposing to impeach him for daring to exercise his Constitutional rights to Executive Privileges by going to court to challenge the subpoenas for documents and witnesses.
He called them out for abuse of THEIR power.
So 25% of the experts called before them were opposed to the impeachment. Nadler lies before the Senate, even though he was sworn to tell the truth.
His cherry picked legal experts agreed, but his PowerPoint slide stated “ALL legal experts agreed. . .”
Big difference. One would be true, the other is a lie, cynically intended to mislead.

Not true. The Senators and Justice Roberts are sworn in. Nadless and the rest of the "House Managers" are nothing but garden variety liars (er, lawyers) in this sham. Anything they say or do should be considered to be 99.44% bull crap.
My personal opinion towards watching this sham? ZZZzzz... 40 year old reruns of "Match Game" are far more stimulating!

So can the Senate then hold them in contempt?
In a court of law, they'd have been subject to defense objections, possibly dragged back to the judges chambers for an a**-reaming, and ultimately subject to sanctions, contempt of court charges, and disbarment.
