"Local" presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard comes out swinging against Her Heinous, Hillary Clinton after Clinton (and her lackeys at CNN and the New York Times) alleged Ms. Gabbard was a "Russian asset".
This bubbled over during the Democrat debate on Wednesday and then came to a boil today when Clinton's comments on a podcast with Obama lackey David Plouffe hinted strongly that Russia was "grooming" Gabbard for a third-party run.
Feel free to watch the video that's shy of 12 minutes and be prepared for a few f-bombs but, if you just want a synopsis, here goes:
Gabbard resigned her position with the DNC in 2016 after becoming involved with the Bernie campaign and seeing from the inside how the Democrats screwed over Bernie to make sure Hillary got the nomination. The DNC reacted to this with a stern letter to Ms. Gabbard accusing her of being disloyal to Hillary and the Democrat Party by siding with an old man who "hasn't done anything for the American people".
Ms. Brainlet shows a copy of the letter.
She then shows a clip from a CNN interview from that year where Gabbard refuses to endorse Hillary and refused to speak negatively of Bernie.
So, that seems to be the "deep background". Tulsi strayed from the Hillary reservation and refused to endorse her (or anyone) back in 2016 so Hillary is seeking her revenge by spreading the "Russian bot" smear among her vast media chums.
Make of it what you will. I just felt that FReepers, in a quest to understand what the heck is going on here, would like to know how one Hawaiian Bernie Sis sees this and backs it up with several pieces of evidence.

I don't think Tulsi can "take her out", at least not permanently. But you can bet she'll inflict some costly damage on Her Heinous.

Tulsi Gabbard was raised in a conservative home and her father is very conservative, still is. As a teenager she went to events with him and they both gave speeches about the evils of abortion and same-sex “marriage” Why on earth she decided to run as a liberal democrat is beyond me. If she was truly a pro life conservative when she was 18 she still is. She also understands that if she was to say she was a pro life she would be ran out of the democrat party. But she’s finished as a democrat. She’s basically got the same foreign policy as Trump so I would suggest she call a press conference, saying she had asked God for his forgiveness and repent for ever saying she was pro-abortion. Then say she was becoming a republican. She might make it to the White House one day. The dems despise her and always will.
Phooey. Gabbard is a hard core Leftist whose sin was endorsing Sanders in 2016 and for criticizing the steam rolling of his campaign against Hilliary.
Hillary is unhinged. However, her attack on Tulsi really means she is running for president again. PLEASE MAKE IT SO.
Biden is already dead meat. The rest of the democrat field is too far left to win an election. Hillary sees this as her one last chance to be president but must eliminate Tulsi. The only chance the democrat party really has is Tulsi or Michelle, or most laughable Clinton.
Hillary Clinton is truly unhinged. I think she really believes the crap she says about Tulsi.

While I share your hope that, if Clinton runs, she'll lose to Trump, I can't say I think a Clinton victory is impossible.
I live near Ithaca, NY, arguably one of the half-dozen most rabidly progressive Democrat cities in America. The vast majority of the people I know, work with, play music with, and hear on the street corner, would crawl over broken glass to vote again for Hillary. Whether they're voting for Hillary or against Trump doesn't matter. But then, New York State will go for the Democrat regardless of who it is.
I'd rather the Dems run a weak candidate who is -not- Hillary. Because if, God forbid, Hillary gets into the Oval Office, she'll damage this great Country of ours even more effectively than Obama did. God Bless America. And please God, Save America.

Tulsi Gabbard should run as an independent candidate running for POTUS. She would actually get more votes then any current Democrat currently running for POTUS. All of them are totally useless and incompetent. And...if Hillary Clinton runs...Ms Gabbard would slaughter Clinton at the ballot box.
My wisdom of word, to Ms. Gabbard is to either run as an independent for POTUS or, immediately switch political parties from being a Democrat to becoming a Republican!!!

I can’t see any of the current Dimmanazi candidates even winning their primary. The winner will be a current outsider, Bloomberg, Opra, maybe a pseudo-religious type like a sharpston or jackson or an obscure billionaire that is not a known entity. Just not one of the announced candidates.
