Cummings's widow (Maya Rockeymoore) says he 'worked until his last breath'

Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, the widow of Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), on Thursday said in a statement that her late husband “worked until his last breath.”

“Congressman Cummings was an honorable man who proudly served his district and the nation with dignity, integrity, compassion and humility. He worked until his last breath because he believed our democracy was the highest and best expression of our collective humanity and that our nation’s diversity was our promise, not our problem,” she said.

“It’s been an honor to walk by his side on this incredible journey. I loved him deeply and will miss him dearly,” Rockeymoore Cummings, who serves as the chairwoman of the Maryland Democratic Party, added.

Congressman Cummings was a dishonorable man who served as an apparatchik of a dishonorable and corrupt political machine, the Democrat party. He delivered over 90% of his districts ethnic vote for that machine and in return he was rewarded with money and power. In doing so he disadvantage the nation and ultimately disadvantaged the race in his district he claimed to champion. All of his left-wing nostrils ultimately damaged his constituents. For all this he was not an honorable man, and no matter how he deceived himself, he was a demagogue and a racist.

I've seen some subpoenas supposedly signed by Cummings in his last hours that had legible signatures that didn't match his usual signature. What are the odds that anyone will be legibly signing documents during his last few hours in hospice?
