The people are still sovereign: Only Trump gets that

Message to the Swamp: American voters still are supposed to be in charge.

That means they get to decide who gets elected. For example, in 2016, they elected a man named Donald Trump. He is still the president. Go suck an egg if you don’t like it.

It also means that American voters get to choose where our soldiers, sailors and airmen get deployed around the world. They choose that by electing “representatives” to Congress, who vote to declare wars. They also get to choose the commander in chief of America’s mighty military. (Again, see previous paragraph about a man named Donald Trump, who is still president. And feel free to go suck another egg.)

In addition, American voters get to choose — again, through the “representatives” they have elected — how much money we spend on bombs and ammunition and where we deploy them. Most important, American voters choose where all that firepower gets launched and who, exactly, gets killed by American bombs and bullets.

That is the way this is supposed to work.

For more than two years, Britain under Prime Ministers Neville Chamberlain and Winston Churchill begged American President Franklin D. Roosevelt to join the fight against Nazi Germany. Roosevelt was more than sympathetic. But he understood that he could not do so unless and until the American people understood the fight, knew who the enemy was, comprehended the risk of getting involved and supported the mission.

There has been a bipartisan consensus to turn the USA into North Mexico for 30 years, through four Presidents, two of each party (well, one usurper) against the will of the citizens.
Non-enforcement for that long has resulted in more than 30 million fraudulently documented foreigners in every part of our country.
We elected President Trump to disrupt, stop or even reverse this policy.
We must give him a Congress that agrees with the citizens and the rule of law, most of the current GOP Senators do not.
Flamesy Grahamnesty has already voted for amnesty THREE times, we should not give him another try at giving the Democrats a permanent majority.

Decades of liberal/progressive efforts to censor, erase and deny the underlying ideas of liberty upon which the U. S. Constitution was framed have had consequences.

Our Constitution embodied a UNIQUE IDEA. Nothing like it had ever been done before. The power of the idea was in the recognition that people's rights are granted directly by the Creator - not by the state - and that the people, then, and only then, grant rights to government. The concept is so simple, yet so very fundamental and far-reaching.

Government

America's founders embraced a previously unheard-of political philosophy which held that people are "...endowed BY THEIR CREATOR with certain unalienable rights.." This was the statement of guiding principle for the new nation, and, as such, had to be translated into a concrete charter for government. The Constitution of The United States of America became that charter.

Other forms of government, past and present, rely on the state as the grantor of human rights. America's founders, however, believed that a government made up of imperfect people exercising power over other people should possess limited powers. Through their Constitution, they wished to "secure the blessings of liberty" for themselves and for posterity by limiting the powers of government. Through it, they delegated to government only those rights they wanted it to have, holding to themselves all powers not delegated by the Constitution. They even provided the means for controlling those powers they had granted to government.

This was the unique American idea. Many problems we face today result from a departure from this basic con­cept. Gradually, other "ideas" have influenced legislation which has reversed the roles and given government greater and greater power over individuals. Early generations of Americans pledged their lives to the cause of in­dividual freedom and limited government and warned, over and over again, that eternal vigilance would be required to preserve that freedom for posterity.

Yup. There’s tons of fault on our end too because we keep voting many of these RINOS back to Congress. The lesser of two evils concept keeps coming back to burn us in the butt!

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

We the sovereign people are the final arbiters in all constitutional issues. And your quote from the Declaration is our recourse to tyranny per the Founders.

I wish more people would try to pin the Left down whenever they talk about the 2016 election and “the popular vote”, by asking them if they support and defend the Constitution of the United States?

If the answer is yes, ask them if the Electoral College is described in said Constitution?

{it is}.

Then ask them if said Constitution proscribes a way to change it, if they do not like a part of it?

{it does}.

Then ask them if they’ve started the necessary effort to get the popular vote established in the Constitution by the amendment process?

If no, tell them to get started or STFU.

Trump is a Master at Branding Democrats. I thought he should call Schiff or Nadler Captain Kangaroo be cause they are running Kangaroo Court proceedings. Bet it would stick.

Yup. The left (socialists) want to transform our republic and federation of self-governing states into a democracy. Not because they love democracy or freedom, it’s because they know that a democracy will soon devolve into socialism. Socialism is the opposite of freedom.

Yet no one said a word when in the original film it was about killing a bunch of Christians in a church.

Anyhow, this video is over a year old. The only reason it is news is because the Establishment is trying to distract the public from the Project Veritas CNN videos.
