This article implies that the Australian arrest might have to do with leaking to the media, but it is within the time frame where the DoJ IGs report into the FISA abuse scandal (attempted coup against President Trump) was wrapped up, and Senior folks (and presumably allied Governments, if implicated) were being given a heads up on what is coming.
