There was always some doubts as to the earlier Epstein settlement. But as to the Palm Beach state prosecutor claiming that he was ready to prosecute: just ask the Palm Beach County police forces. Acosta allegedly told Trump transition officials that he had been told to back off Epstein. “I was told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence’ and to leave it alone,” he allegedly said.

What this actually means is that most likely a dirtbag lawyer like Dershowtiz would come to acotas' office and tell him flat out that: "Epstien is Mossad (and most likely a cia asset as well)and he can forget any meaningful prosecution.And if he outs Epstein in any way shape or form that compromises what he is doing that Acosta is in deep doo doo and would face prosecution."

So my guess is Acosta had no choice but to give a big pass to Epstein.

If I can guess that Trump probably knew it and could be why he hired Acosta anyway since he knew all the details.Why he is being fired at this point is ironoic to me I don't get it.
