This is where they show their hand: They believe that minorities are stupid, and that without help from white people, advanced SAT scores, etc., non-whites cannot compete. One of my sons-in-law is Latino. He has gone back to college, is the first person in his entire family to ever go to college, and he has a 4.0, and is Phi Beta Kappa. This is a ridiculous notion that securing the border is about racism. Maybe she is thinking of her native Somalia, which DOES seem to have a competence problem.

We should welcome immigrants to our country and offer a simple way to citizenship. That's not the problem, stupid! It's illegal immigration that's the problem. We need to control our borders...period...and quit political promises of free stuff aimed at bolstering the waning Democrat voter base.

Precisely. It is the only justification for racist policies such as affirmative action. The problem is that the beneficiaries should be telling the government to go pound sand but they don’t. In her condescending, patronizing, racist tweet, Omar suggested that Latinos are too stupid and unskilled to qualify for admission based on merit. Omar is such a jerk... we have lots of LEGAL immigrants from South American and Mexico in Florida and a fair share of our medical doctors and lawyers are Hispanic - and they're some of our best.

You hit the nail on the head. If you drill down to it, the basic tenent of Liberalism is that anyone who isn’t a rich white liberal is inferior in intelligence and ability and can’t survive without the Nanny State’s constant assistance.
It drives me up the wall to hear “Progressives” proclaim Trump to be a racist as if this was a well-established fact. Trump is helping to bring jobs and opportunities to minority communities. Democrats just want to bring crap public housing and unending welfare and government control. Who’s the racist there?
