Remember Senator Larry Craig the Republican U.S. Senator that liked to troll for pickups in airport bathrooms? He had the most absurd excuse when he got caught, something to do with his “Stance” as he was on the toilet.
It’s an Achilles heel for Republicans, the same way that Democrat politicians so frequently get caught in financial chicanery while decrying capitalism and the evil rich. Everyone hates a hypocrite. Do they adopt their respective parties as a disguise for their own venality and perversion?
When so many Republicans act spineless and vote against their constituents, we always assume they are just afraid of what the Beltway media will say about them.
