Many right-wing figures lined up Friday night to criticize President Donald Trump for temporarily ending the government shutdown for three weeks without having convinced Congress to fund his proposed U.S.-Mexico border wall.
Controversial commentator Ann Coulter called Trump “the biggest wimp ever to serve as president” and Fox Business host Lou Dobbs said Trump had been “whipped” by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
Fox News’ Sean Hannity, however, had a different take.
The “Hannity” host, who is a staunch supporter of the president and even joined him on stage at a Missouri rally ahead of the 2018 midterms, insisted that Trump still “holds all the cards” when it comes to negotiating with Congress for the wall.
Hannity claimed that Trump would simply declare a national emergency to obtain the funds if he couldn’t seal a deal for the wall with Congress during the next three weeks that the government is reopened...

In his many years at the highest levels of cut throat business and finding ways to make things happen, Jared Kushner is the best he could do to help implement what we elected him to do? Does he (and Ivanka) inspire you as the top level advisors you want to go to war with? I’m guessing if you gave them a series of relative questions, you’d find they align more with Pelosi than us (note I said ‘us’ rather than Trump).

The wand is the pencil he could have used to veto the spending bill that funded Planned Parenthood. Some things are worth making a stand on, if nothing else than to smoke out the frauds in your party. We’re collectively going nuts here because he didn’t make such a stand on a wall. But silence for a babies life?

How many other ‘real men’ would have made Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump their senior advisors?
If you made a list of every important issue confronting us today, on how many of those issues do you believe that you (or 99% of those on this site), Jared, and Ivanks, would agree on?
See a problem there? That’s what’s stuck in my craw that makes me genuinely WARY.
Which would you prefer? The "wall" you were promised? Or new federal policy that allows instant deportation for illegals found in the country?
There are millions of illegals in the country today. They have already crossed the wall. Trump's golf club is firing illegals who used forged documents. Eliminating the economic incentives for illegals to come to the U.S.A. is the key to stopping illegal immigration.
I doubt that it is just coincidence that the Trump firings are happening now. The "wall" is a tremendous distraction from what the problem really is.

Agree with you on that. I think mandatory e-verify, no immigration for people who cannot contribute to society and have a job with income.
The wall is a start and the deportation in mass of those here already is not going to happen. They need to be incentivised to self deport.
