Democrats Dismiss Trump’s Political Concession, Demand More
Breitbart ^ | 19 January 2019 | Neil Munro

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of Calif., center, speaks about her oath of office as she stands next to Senate Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer of N.Y., left, and Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., right, following their meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House in Washington, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019.

Democrats immediately rejected President Donald Trump’s offer of a work-permit amnesty for one million registered migrants in exchange for 230 miles of new border wall.

The rejection came even though Trump’s offer angered his base by trading a DACA temporary amnesty for a wall.

Also, Trump did not ask for the reform of the many catch-and-release rules which allow the cartels to profitably smuggle hundreds of thousands of poor migrants into the U.S. labor market, welfare rolls, and U.S. K-12 schools.

The speech came after Trump had offered a series of smaller concessions in closed-door negotiations since Christmas.

Democrats quickly dismissed the amnesty offer.

Sen. Chuck Schumer also rejected the compromise, saying, “offering some protections back in exchange for the wall is not a compromise but more hostage taking.

I think this is all a brilliant ploy to clear out the government of all the black hat bureaucrats working behind the scenes to undermine him.

He needs to pull it soon. Things are getting really tense and I’m tired of paying traitor Pelosi’s salary.

Since he keeps offering concessions it’s hard to blame the Dems for holding out for more.

Time to shut the border, and declare the emergency...but then, that may be what the dems were pushing for...

Of course it is, then they can holler about how he’s
exceeding his authority and needs to be impeached.

There is no depth to which socialists won’t sink in
order to get and keep control.

The big problem is we have let them have it for far too long.

He’s up to something. I have the feeling he’s mousetrapping the Dems and they don’t realize it.

Absolutely what they are counting on. The strategybeing that they can tie up construction in the courts until 2020. It gives both sides propganda value, but a major event will occur andthe democrats will be held responsible. Their votes will be on the record when the bill is passed, which is furher than a bill has gone before.

Is this the same guy that wrote the “Art of the deal”?

Hoo-yeah. He keeps giving them a deal that sounds quite reasonable, which he knows they can't accept, because of their crazy base. That in effect keeps putting the shut-down on them, making them look nasty and stupid again. This gives him more and more latitude, like money in the bank, to do whatever he wants when the time is up.

And he gets to decide when the time's up.

Yes, at least close the Ports of Entry. Mexico has thrown open its Southern border for the latest caravan of invaders. Trump needs to impose enough economic pain to get Mexico to reverse course.

The looks on their faces in that photo, is the same as the look on the Coyote's face when he sees the anvil rapidly approaching from above.

I was thinking more of what the USSR leaders looked like on the reviewing stand during the May Day parade.

Prediction: President Trump orders the Border Wall on Super Bowl Sunday in a live, televised broadcast from the Oval Office while punting the re-opening of the gubmint to Congress.

Or better yet, order construction of the wall by the military on the basis of a national emergency and keep the government shut down.
