We already have all the tools and laws needed to prevent illegal immigration and evict illegal immigrants. A wall won’t help if the Dems still want them here.
Trumps compromise is what they have been waiting for. They will pocket this small win and move on.

I could hardly disagree more. It’s true that walls can be breached - any security expert will tell you that, while at the same time advising you that a wall would be your first and best course of action. The bigger the barrier, the more effective it will be.
Maybe I’m naive, but I don’t think border patrol or all the people watching what happens would allow those gates to be opened. The dems best bet is to make sure the wall is never built. That’s why Pelosi won’t go for the deal. Seems to me she’s screwed regardless of what she does.
