..."Saudi Arabia and the UAE have sent military forces to areas controlled by the Kurdish YPG group in north-east Syria, Turkey’s Yenisafak newspaper reported.

The paper said the forces will be stationed with US-led coalition troops and will support its tasks with huge military enforcements as well as heavy and light weapons.

Quoting the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the newspaper reported that a convoy of troops belonging to an Arab Gulf state recently arrived in the contact area between the Kurdish PKK/YPG and Daesh in the Deir Ez-Zor countryside.

This comes at a time when Ankara is preparing to launch an expanded military operation with the Free Syrian Army against the Kurdish PKK group in the northeast of Syria".

Don’t be too hard on the Saudis, they have been reforming under the crown prince and helped the U.S. defeat ISIS. I think that is why the libs and warmongers were wanting Trump to sever ties with them.

TF is a good fellow. Notice he’s been reserving judgment on this.
Don’t blame him, it’s a mebulous situation. Hoping he’s seeing some signs of the future.

Trump is doing the only thing that really matters- forcing hard decisions. Otherwise things will just go on, and on and on.

But I read on FR that Trump had yet again screwed the USA foreign policy up. The never trumps need to be tossed away. I’m sick of their backstabbing bullshit on every thread. No president in modern time has done more yet people still puke all ovrf every decision made. Disgusting.

It’s sad that most libs of today will reflexively want what is bad for America. Some know how it looks and don’t care.
Others are still thinking it’s the democrat party they grew up with 30 or 60 years ago. The second group never digs any deeper than the slogans. They remain blissfully ignorant.

A military leader becomes more important when running a war. Without wars, military becomes diminished in necessity and stature.

Same reason doctors seldom give you advice on diet & exercise. They give you meds to cure the disease, but not show you how to avoid disease in the first place. If you seldom get sick, doctors will go out of business.

Trump has been very busy behind the scenes. I just listened to Alex who does a great job breaking it all down. This Trump guy is a true genius and if this doesn’t make one proud of our president - nothing well.

I was so shocked & sickened when I heard the news of the US pullout from the Kurds held areas.

Next to Israel, the Kurds are the only decent folks worth helping over there in the middle-east esp as they have been hunted and abused by the other countries for many years.

Now that the news that the Saudis and others are stepping in to hold the line, I'm sure that the Turkish dictator is crapping his pants in surprise.

The Saudi Crown prince is probably sitting and thinking out aloud "BRING IT, YOU FOOL!" if Erdoğan tries to step into Kurdish territory to try to do them any harm.

And now we know why Eric Prince was in Saudi for the last few weeks.

Here is a wishful thinking on my part on the whole pullout deal: One RUSH ORDER of 5,000 US JAVELIN missiles and 1,000 of the latest Stinger anti-aircraft missiles for the Kurds coming right up, as a farewell & good luck gift to them from their American allies!

All of a sudden on hearing of this weapon aid to the Kurds Putin, Assad, The Iranian mullahs and Hizbullah suddenly dont feel too well...

After spending a couple years stationed at Incirlik Air Base I can say without a doubt that Turks are the absolute scum of the earth, even worse than the French. And at least even with the democrat party.

I agree. It isn’t pretty over there, and it sure does matter.

We are told the final war will be with players in the region.

We have been able to stop adventurism in Korea, Japan, and Europe. We have tried to do it in Syria and Iraq.

Look folks, it is what it is.

If we don’t want Armageddon, I suggest we keep Turkey, Iran, and Russia off balance.

When we walk out, we’re creating a void that WILL be filled.

We’re not going to like what happens.

I think so too, but this may turn very ugly.

Folks have wanted this for a long time.

The U. S. has been able to neuter Iran, Russia, and Turkey, them not getting exactly what they wanted.

When we pull out, it’s open season in the Middle-East and Israel will be the bull’s eye.

In some places, there simply are not any easy answers.

Syria, Iraq, the Kurds, Turkey, Iran, Russia...

When we leave, there’s going to be a stew developing that we’re not gonna like.

“A military leader becomes more important when running a war. “

Not in out Founder’s system.
A US President running a war is dependent on
congress. He becomes their puppet. He must do whatever they want for their funding. Look at Bush2.

Smart of our Founders IMO.
