BREAKING Ryan says Trump won’t sign Senate passed CR: “He will not sign this bill”
We emailed President Trump about 4 times in last 2 days.
But not signing it is not a veto.
What true Trump supporters need to understand is that
(1) Trump does not go back on promises during campaign.
(2) Trump is a master negotiator. He has done more $$$ worth of negotiations than all of us combined.
(3) Read his book “Art of the Deal” to really understand why he operates the way he does.
(4) Trump is NOT a dictator. He has to deal with the congress to get funding.
(5) Negotiations never means 100% success. You settle for the best deal possible after using all your skills.
I or anyone else can not predict what the Wall deal will end up looking like. All I know is that Trump will try his best to get the best deal POSSIBLE. He can not build the wall unilaterally.
And finally there is nothing wrong in posting again and again that “We Want The Wall”. What I object to is immediately jumping to conclusion that Trump has reneged like George Herbert Walker Bush regarding “read my lips, no more taxes”.
For those who were convinced he'd caved, and they were going to eat worms and never vote again...piff. Those are the ones I derided.

I wasn’t necessarily talking about you. Yesterday, FR was full of Trump bashing. Funny, those voices are pretty absent today.
Was Trump inviting Rush to his Christmas party was just a coincidence. I wouldn’t be surprised if the switcheroo was planned at that party.
I think this was Trump's plan all along.
Dec. 17 Trump invites Rush Limbaugh and others to the White House.
Dec 18 Rush tells us about his visit. Trump lets on later that day he's giving up on ANY dollars for the wall.
Dec. 19 Rush goes ballistic over that "cave". The MSM, NeverTrumpers, Swamp all go orgasmic over their defeat of Trump.
Today, Trump says he won't sign ANY spending bill that doesn't include 5 billion for the border.
What happened? Trump ginned up support by giving up. He riled the base. Look at the GO-Fund-Me effort.
Trump, as always, is five steps ahead of his opponents. His opponents are stupid.
Negotiating Leverage. It's what Trump knows better than anyone.

I had just heard Sanders and Ryan use the term “border security.”
Ryan probably would choke if he said the word “wall.’
Rush is on the "A" list, so yes, it was just a coincidence.............
“Maybe he heard us. And unlike the rest for Washington actually listened to us.”
I think Trump is mostly tough and stands up for us and our principals more than any other Republican would have.
Still he can waver sometimes, if it’s not actually some strategy, and on such an important issue with so much at stake an outcry like this from us has to get his attention.
We conservatives have a strong belief in our principals because they’ve been shown to work, and if you will lead us with them we’ll have your back. If not...we’ll have another area of your back.
Good theory. Seems plausible. Just heard Mattis is leaving. Hummmm...
