They’ll disguise it and put it on a ballot.
I remember when CA floated redistribution of 401k plans.
It died about a week later.
Elected Democrats will change the law. This is merely a slight delay to get more income from us.
I use burner phones and I register everyone in a new state every time. I have never used my actual state to register my phone.
France came to mind.
“... you all bring your half assed liberal ideas to Montana and Idaho.”
Not this cat. I would have brought damned straight Constitutional Conservative ideas to Idaho, but a bunch of ex-CA libtards already done shat in that nest.
About 2005 real estate hit a peak out here, and I took a VERY serious look at selling out and relocating to someplace in the Treasure Valley. I could have bought new out a couple miles from the airport and had 3000+sq. ft. on 2/3 of an acre with a three-car garage for a cool $300k, paid off my CA house, and stowed a year-and-a-half of salary in the bank.
So, I had a Boise-area real estate agent send me a newsprint publication full of listings...
I opened up to this full-page ad that showed the entrance to a gated community: rock walls with chrome-plated script lettering, planter beds full of nice flowers surrounded with manicured lawn... then I read the header to the page - God as my witness this one thing blew the whole deal to Hell:
“Welcome to Eagle; the Napa Valley of Idaho”
Eagle.
Quiet, quaint, farm-fringe Eagle there on the verge of the fields at the extreme outer limits of the Boise metro.
Those idiots touting how much like California they thought they were told me everything I needed to know about liberal infiltration into the region. Damned sorry I am; I and my family would have given the State a welcome shove to the ideological right, and plenty of fleeing Californians are exerting that influence in places they end up. Sadly ,the opposite is happening, too. Leftist morons get sick of the cost of living in CA — A COST THEY VOTED FOR OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER AGAIN — so they leave but then vote for the same home-wrecking policies wherever they land. Anyhow, the progress of the degradation there in Idaho was so jarring that I scrapped the whole plan and just stayed put.
Now my friend up in Meridian tells me it’s a solid half hour slog from Eagle down to I-84 every morning; that commute traffic, which was once characterized by five cars at the traffic light, has exploded into HERDS of SUVs with Bernie bumper stickers on ‘em.
It all just makes me sick to my stomach.
