I wonder how long they will stay. The problem is it rarely gets cold enough there to make them pack up and go home. As long as they get food and water they could theoretically stay there indefinitely if Mexico allows it.

Nothing like a little leverage. We are now post the G-20 where the new USMCA was just signed. Trump says he will formally end NAFTA shortly (Monday? Tuesday?) which leaves Mexico looking at USMCA falling through and leaving them with no NAFTA if they don't cooperate, and AMLO is sounding cooperative.
